This course provides an introduction to Telehealth and examples of the distribution of health-related services and information via electronic information and telecommunication technologies. It will discuss the difference between telehealth and telemedicine. It will also demonstrat the various technologies used which allow long-distance patient and clinician contact, care, advice, reminders, education, intervention, monitoring, and remote admissions, espcially in emergency situations.
